The riding pic is after we got the chopper driveable. Then some more safety stuff was added and it was painted.
The next chopper will be bigger, but this one is super-fun. I've added a chain guard, more gussets, and what not since this. With that, here's my buddy test-riding the chopper.

yeah --- because it is a mini chopper I felt OK doing it -- but that's around 55 degrees --- totally nutty raked out. The turning is terrible, but i just love how it looks!

30. I know exactly because one day the cops dropped one of those "speed signs" in front of my house. you know, the kind that say, "the speed limit is 30 -- Your speed is 30"
It's only got a 3hp on there, too. :)

With me on it (190 lbs) it took a long, flat stretch to hit 30, but I did it.

Ever consider putting a jackshaft on it? Lower that gear ratio a bit :P
