View Full Version : My finished death trap... i mean gokart

Well I finished this beast to day and found out that Ice storm = icy grass and when you add that to golf cart tires you get almost no traction :) oh well I had to take it out for a test spin right

any who heres the pics I have some of the build to post but this is what I have for now,

that thing looks prett heavy duty,you should make a swing arm on the back

Thank you, and what do you mean by a swing arm in the back (my brain is off for the rest of the day, I just took a final for my welding class)

here is my gocart when i first made the swingarm,it was made from some old snowmobile suspension parts. note:the cart does not look this bad right now its painted and has rollbar etc..

thats a good Idea, if you look at the old frame that was the set up that it had when I bought the frame, just didn't have the strut,
so when I rebuilt it I decided to make it solid but I may change it when I want a softer ride

3 Cheers! That thing is cool! The car seat probably cushions any nasty bumps.... I think it's a great job! I'm envious.

You've got like a foot of ground clearance! sweet. oh and btw nice seat
