I've got a few old engines that i've repainted the tanks on. First I stripped them to bare metal, then paint. My problem is that the next time gas hits it, BAM, the paint peels.

Does anyone know how / what to use to keep the paint on the tank? I've just been using normal Rustoleum, which clearly isn't the right stuff!

Thanks

naw. that engine paint is TOUGH, oh and after you paint it, i know on my can it said to "bake it" if you just run the motor itll "bake it" as it heats up, but read the directions for best results :D
