thought it would be a perfect solution for those who wants a cheap bada$$ tach :D

I think it would work on anything with a spark plug...

Yeah you can use the same tach's for 2 or 4 strokes.
A lot of kart racers sell their old (still working) race tach's for $50 or so when they upgrade to newer models that have many more functions. Most all the older race tachs also came with a temperature sensor ring that simply slips under the base of any spark plug. The temp gauge can be a pretty handy feature and many of these models have a memory recall option so you can go back and review all your readings after you've stopped instead of constantly having to look down and distract you while your driving.
