i called them and they said no. also they don't offer anything but the regular flywheel for the bike it goes on. they told me that when the engine revs it will get brighter, i reasoned because of no battery or regulator system. i would add a battery at least to keep them burning steady.

You need magnets inside the flywheel to run something like that.

I talked to some guys at a local engine shop and the told me there is no difference in the flywheel. But also told me the charging coil is for the starter only, they sell 2 versions of a lighting coil, one that puts out 25 watts and one st 55 watts.

That makes no sense, if it can charge a battery to power a starter, there is no reason it cant power lights.

i don't know about watts, but when i looked them up for hondas, there were a few of them. one put out 12v 4a, another put out 12v 7a. i charge my moto batteries at 12/2 12/6. the moto's rotor/stators put out like 350-550 acv @5500rpm. but they use a regulator rectifier. my ke100 would make the light brighter when under power riding, but not just idling. it had a battery which i eliminated and a rectifier.

Volts x amps = watts

12v 7A would be 84w
12V 4A would be 48w

thought so.. there are extra magnets on the inside. how hard would it be to make one, and to make it of the outside? doesnt sound that hard, just lots of copper wire.
