Hi everyone,

I am currenly have a brand new 6.5 HF Clone motor that im going to be modding . Its going to have a flat top piston and S.S valves with 18 lb springs, you guys know the normal upgrades. Im going to be getting a Horstman Greased Lightning clutch. Im just wondering if that is going to be good combo or the clutch is over kill for the motor. Also im not sure if gear ratio will have to do with anything but if so im going to be running a 14/68 on 13x5z6 tires. Thanks agein.

What clutch do you recommend for playing around? I do alot of stop and go riding and my stock clutch just don't like the way I ride it. She tends to smoke alot :roflol:

torque converter. $250 for a clutch is crazy, you could easily buy a torque converter for that (or even better a motorcycle engine).

your tires are to big OR geared to high for your application

a TQ convertor may or may not help you

drop the front to a 12 tooth.. or lower will HELP ALOT

i got the clutch at a really good deal ($45 and already rebuilt) and i was wrong, its a Greased Lightning JR. I was just wondering if the Clutch would do ok with the clone.
