Anyone know how to? I have a couple that are worn down from use, hard starters at that.

I have a couple that are worn down from use...Can you articulate?
What do you mean by worn down?

Low gauss? Can't pick up anything with it (almost). Worn down in other words hah. Weak spark, ect.
There was this trick supposedly to took up a coil and a car charger and re-vitalize it, but I tried it and it didn't seem to do much?

In all the time I been working on this stuff, I have never run across this problem.
I know it does happen but is exceedingly rare especially in engines produced after the 1930's.
Check with an old lawnmower repair shop. Sometimes they have the capability to recharge magnets.
Heat, shock, and heavy vibration can be the culprits.

Actually it's generally the problem that these little small 2 stroke flywheels get stuck to the crankshaft pretty **** hard, and it ends up being lots of propane and a torch to get it off along with a puller.
And I'm sure the heat (propane about 3000F, no?) brought a few of these magnets over Curie's point once or twice.

Ahah... I destroyed it now. Read somewhere to give it a strong magnetic field while heating to Curie's tempearture (About 1000F I think), using my butane torch.
I got some hard drive rare earth magnets (50% of the world's RE are in HDD's). Stuck them on it, and heated it up.
1 minute later, I turn it off. Magnets just plumb drop down (take in mind these were impossible to separate before), and the flywheel won't even pick up a tiny metallic flake now.
Failed. Tips anyone?

Did you try recharging the flux capacitor?
a way to at least get a little magnetize take a good magnet stick it to it and drag the good magnet down it if that don't work slide it across the other way.
if it works and you want to try to make it better drag it the same way
good luck
