What would be a safe RPM limit for a tecumseh engine?

I'm looking at http://www.smallenginewarehouse.com/product.asp?PN=H30MB&desc=Tecumseh+Engine+3+HP+Horizontal+3+4+x2+5+16+K eyed+Shaft+Recoil+Start+setup+for+minibike which is the same as http://www.smallenginewarehouse.com/product.asp?PN=H30-35807&desc=Tecumseh+Engine+3HP+Horizontal+3+4+x2+5+16+Sh aft+Recoil+Start+Manual+Throttle but set up for a minibike or go cart.
Thing is, they don't mention RPMs at all. With some googling, I found out the non-minibike version is governed, topping out at a whopping (sarcasm) 3600rpm.

Oh course I'll remove the governor, but w/o a tach, I won't know what's a safe rpm limit.

Anyone know?

they say that 3600 rpm is the safe limit on briggs and tecumesh and 3900 on hondas and thier knockoffs if i were you i would get a honda and try not to exceed 4000 rpm and a tach would be a good idea however most engines wont exceed the limit when attached to a minibike anyways even with the govenor unhooked unless youre going down hill at full throttle or somethng like that

hope this helps
