Being new to off road go carts..should my right wheel tough the frame when the steering wheel is turned all the way....doesnt happen with the left side. guessing this is part of how the steering works

You're probably out of alignment somewhere. My kart turns farther one side then the other, thats because of clearance issues with the steering.

what do I do to fix it...the wheels appear to be straight and even

Do you have any pictures? It could be anything, from a bent frame, bent suspension, bent spindles, bent steering linkage, bent tie rods.

lot of times the turn stop tab has been wore on one side worse than the other. depends on how it was used before you got it. if it is you can tell by the groove cut into it. you can weld it back out by filling in the groove on the tab.

On the other hand, it might just be the results of someone replacing a damaged rim with one of a diferent offset or width.

Theres nothing wrong wth the wheel hitting the frame. Like it was said above, the bump stops probably wore away or broke off. Not something to worry about unless it is causeing a problem. Just dont turn all the way to the point the wheel rubs
