so i understand you, you are asking about flooring under the seat? most karts will have something like angle iron for 'bolt' adjustable seats, others will be drilled for sliding tracks. you can go with a simple metal framed seat, or you can get a plastic yerf dog type seat (hard plastic racing style bucket seat). not sure of your size or who will be riding, but, the karts that have the paddle brakes like this one are usually very small, say for a 5 year old. some people opt for a lawn tractor seat, but for approx. the same price you could get a decent kart bucket. i think.

The kart itself is not for a five year old is it? I'm way older than five. Did you just mean the seat? I weigh around 190. I want to be sure I can ride it. Thanks.

ok, how tall are you? can you sit on the frame with plenty of room for the engine? are your knees touching your chest or steering wheel? if you are cramped, it is not a good fit. where the two (2) tubes come together in the seat area, either it will have angle iron with horizontal holes drilled (the angle being welded to the tubes), or it (tubes)will be drilled (vertically) for sliders. seat is more personal preference than anything. there are metal framed ones with sheet metal to act as the shelf for your butt, and a piece for your back. there are plastic ones, composite (still plastic) ones, or aluminium sheet ones. take your pick. they almost all will have different mounting, so if you know how to adapt good for you, if not the angle w/ steel seat is easiest.

there appears to be tubing where a seat slides in. That's the only thing I can think of why there would be two hollow tubes in that area. If you look at the picture above, next to the rail, underneath is the hollow tube. There another one on the other side, same length.

the frame tubes are the frame tubes; the secondary u shaped tube is a place to hang the floor pan. as to one underneath, maybe it is for reinforcement. are there any cracks or fractures, or welding beads? um, there is a piece of metal hanging off the left side (as you are sitting on it) of the kart, is it angle, box, or does it even go on the kart?

There is enough floor there, just find an old rider lawn mower seat or something of that nature.

I don't think that piece hanging of is origina. It looks like it was put there for a makeshift seat. At the moment I can sit on a 2x4 until I go back to the junkyard.
