yes, let's have a "tips to improve performance" discussion here. One thing you can do is take off the muffler and replace it with an normal iron water pipe for a high-flow exhaust.

ya thats a good idea but i wonder how much an actual exhaust pipes cost from a racing kart ill find out and post it

has anyone tried turbo charging their kart? i know its possible but dont know whats involved. of course i know a fan or blower is needed to blow air in but i think there is also a need for more fuel when running that much more air right? so maybe for your fuel solution you could use a different carb? possibly off of a quad with an adapter plate so it fits on your kart? or maybe just a bigger briggs carb. also i bet you could find a hot cam for it.

i have a post on the carb called dual carbs which might help but other than that i have "heard" that it has been done but never seen a pic but if someone wanted to do this they would need a low psi high cfm {cubic feet per minute} air flow so that you dont blow out that spark and dont blow a headgasket and alot more fuel so the motor dosent lean out also i think a quad carb would be too much gas and flood the engine

i found a u weld it kit at bmi for 26.99 but its up to you how you weld it do its probably not the best performance wise but i saw some on ebay for 25 to 70 dollars and those were racing parts
