Arc Welding

I've been working on an article for arc welding for a couple of days now and have realized two things:

1. It's WAY too deep a subject to cover in one article, and

2. I don't know beans about it outside the very narrow experience I have with it. I've used exactly 4 types of rod: 6011, 7018, 309 and 316. While I've burned a ton of 6011 and 7018, I don't really feel I'm qualified to be telling other folks how to go about it.

Therefore, rather than take the chance of putting out bum info and getting somebody hurt, I'm going to refrain from posting anything.

I posted that because I had previously posted my intent to do a series of articles on welding. After the first one, I realised there are a lot of folks already here who have forgotten more than I know about welding. Just following up so folks wouldn't think I was farting them off.

Hey u know what the definition of a spamer is? obviously not hes obviously not selling jack **** hes just tellin the comunity when he promised to make articles on welding that he would do it. this post is just telling everyone that he is inexperianced and would rather have some body else do it.
