where to get metal

i'm having trouble finding metal, could you go to the local hardware store like jerry's or home depot.

yeah but i think its more expensive and they come in short lenths ( like 6' or something)

Yup, you can buy it from those places. But they are really short peices and last time I went to Home Depot, the price was somewhere around 8 or 9 bucks for 6 feet. You can buy from them if you want, but you should probably keep looking if you want some cheaper priced stuff.

thanks, well i searched around and found a place that had 10' foot pieces at the same price so i'm thinking about buying about 30'

yep, just look in the phone book for metal and there's probably a metal yard around. many scrap yards also deal metal.
