I threw it together this weekend and its absolutely amazing. Its a 1bhp 50cc engine from an old jawa moped. My chain system works great and i geared it low so it climbs straight up mountains. it runs about the same speed as pedaling so it worked out nice. I made a cover for the coils with an old goop can and a coat hanger :) Also for the back axle i welded a big washer to the hub and bolted the sprocket to that so i can chage gearing if i want. the lockout on the engine sprocket makes it so you can freewheel and pedal normally

What is that fuel tank off of?

The jackshaft is a hub and axle from a bicycle and the gears are from a snowblower with 3/4" shaft they fit perfectly over the nuts to center everything up. i just welded one side solid and greesed up the bearings and put it all together and welded the otherside in spots so i could grind off the welds and take it apart if i ever had to.
The gas tank is from an old jacobsen reel style mower with a tiny 2 stroke engine. I parted the rest of it out but i still had the tank and a few other parts i figured i could use someday
