Detailed diagram of 2 kinds of axle

I was wondering if I could get some info on axle combos. I forgot what the other one is called but it's where the axle is bolted and the rim has the bearings in it.

The other kind is called a fixed axle. fixed axle is better for roads and paved places and live axles are better for off-roading.

Edit:

Just realized this is in the minibike section. For minibikes i have never seen a live axle and dont really recommend one.
