Can anyone tell me the best most heavy duty cent. clutch to go with?? I just built a Clone 6.5p motor with a few light mods for a customer and now he wants to go back with cent. clutch instead of a Torque Converter. mainly because he is a very light guy and the kart will only be driven on pavement during parades.. However I told him we should really consider a heavy duty clutch like a Hillard just to be safe. (instead of using a cheap $20 ebay special that will break the first time out Lol.)

Can anyone tell me which Heavy duty cent clutch they have had the best luck with?? I have never really used a Cent clutch. My experience is only with Torque Converters.

thanks for any advice guys..

yeah I was wondering about Comet. I use their Torque Converters all the time but have never used a Cent Clutch by them. Might as well stay with Comet since they make such great Torque Converters surely they make good clutches.

I think it would be better to just use a torque convertor and gear it down heaps.
A cent clutch doesn't like to be driven around slowly, because it will always be slipping and wear out quickly.
