Wellllll.... continuation on from my thread:

I found a awesome guy on YT who had a electric kart with a "boost" button. Still used batteries, a ESC, ect... But used a SPDT switch for the boost?! From what I understand, it cuts out the power from the controller and directly "injects" it into the motor...
Now can I do this for under $70? (Pretending that I had the batteries, patience, ect).
And would I need a SWITCH, RELAY, or SOLENOID? Thanks!
