I found a real gem of a Honda CB100 --a 1972 model with only 2100 on the clock. The biggest problems so far are electrical. It is hard to find 6 volt stuff, but I solved the dim turn signals and rear brake light by replacing [improper ] 12 volt parts with 6 volt. The factory original headlight is pretty dim and is a sealed beam 6 volt. Any ideas on what may be out there that will light up the road at night?
BTW this is a 80MPG motorbike that rides like a classic. I just got my temps and insurance and I am restricted to daylight only until I can pass the skills test. At the price I paid, building a gas-saver has been put on hold for now,but I still enjoy the inventiveness of you guys out there.

I found an internet supplier on DIY that does have halogen 6 volt lights. The store is only a bike ride away in Versailles OH. What luck. I just wish I knew what output the generator put out as I wonder if a 55 watt light would be too much for the tiny battery. On edit, it's BMI, and they have a two six volts to choose from. This bike has saved me at least 60 bucks this week alone as I use it to run to the store for parts. My Bobcat skid steer was down, and I did a sixty miler to get the parts and get it working. Butt was a little sore, but well worth it
