Closed threads

What determines when a thread gets closed and locked I ha some info to ad to some of these but was unable to.

The threads close after 30 or 60 days, I can't remember which. Feel free to bring it back up in a new thread!

The problem is that some threads can go on for months and months, and by that time the original posters might not even be around, etc. Better to keep it fresh!
