I was thinking about adding maybe 2 headlights and maybe some running lights on the back of my gokart and I have room for a battery and I want to be able to plug the gokart in and let the battery charge. Dose any one know how this can be done I saw these lights below at northern tool. (12v DC)

Edit: ok so I have found a way to charge the battery, using a trickle charger so that I can top off the battery when I plug it in. Now all I need help with is finding a battery (cant seem to find and 12volt DC batterys dont know why) and I would like to find some running lights for the back and I would have to wire all of this in parrell wireing.

100 watt lights will suck down a battery in short order. Automobile headlights are only about 55 watts. Look up led lights on the net [superbrightled.com] comes to mind.

12 volt batteries are in everything, cars, boats, motorcycle, snowmobiles, mopeds, list goes on.
