Has anybody taken out the governor with the stock honda setup without breaking parts? I'm looking to get a little more out of my gx390 and cant afford the billet rod and flywheel yet. I have heard the honda rod was good til about 5000 rpms. Only mods Ive done so far are 24mm bored Carb, air filter and adapter header and 8° advanced timing key. Thanks for any advice.
