bolts as axles

Right now im building a go kart and thought of a way to use three fourths of an inch bolts for the rear wheels.has any body ever tried it before and do you think it would work:confused:rolleyes:

im using i believe the same bolt on my mini bike now, with 4 wheels the weight will be distrubted more so i would think they could work.

Yes. I've done it. But I used 5/8.
