hello everyone. I am getting ready to start building a street legal mini chopper. I appreciate any help I am given and also glad to help anyone out in any way I can. thanx everyone!

how are you going to get it taged? i guess it depends where you live, but i havent had any luck getting paperwork for a homemade vehicle.-phil

Call your state DMV, and explain to them that you're making a motorcycle, and ask for the relevant requirements. Likely they'll point you to the internet in lieu of actually finding the information for you.
I wouldn't initially say "mini chopper" or homemade -- heck, tell them it's a kit. All you're looking for now is the information.
I suspect you'll need a headlight X inches off the pavement, rear brakes, minimum engine size, etc etc.
However, you might also look at another way.
I know in many places, vehicles with engine sizes LESS than 50 cc can be ridden w/o some paperwork. Check both ways.

You'll need lights, head light, brake light and blinkers
