Hey,
I'm looking to make a simple electric go kart, and I'm excited about this whole starter motor conversion thing, but I am just wondering how much power you can get out of one. any thoughts on how much they put out? how fast do you think a good sized starter motor would take a 2 seater go kart?

I don't know about a two seater, but from what I've heard, you get some massive torque out of a starter motor, they're made to turn over engines after all. I read online somewhere (I don't remember where) that someone who made a mini bike with a starter motor flipped him along with it as soon as he hit the switch.

Geared properly, you could definitely be able to make a two seater, but I wouldn't be able to give you specifics as to what to use. I've never used a starter myself, I just wrote the how-to...Hmmmm seems to me like it's about time I give this a shot myself.

Hello Rufio,

You can try to use LiFePO4 battery packs . This battery is the best choice for e-vehicle .
You can vist the company www.chinatoppower.com to get more info .
