We whent to the track this weekend with the new car and new engine. I ran a 8.30@ 74 mph. The engine is supposed to run around 7.70's@90 MPH. Our engine builder thinks the cam lift he put in was too small. The cam lift is 490 and where gona get somthing like a 530. Our carb was free and its a 37 mm mikuni that's too small aswell. Where stepping up to a 42 mm mikuni. The acceleration is so strong with this 330 motor that it slides me up the back of my seat even with the shoulder seat belts tight. The guy standing beside the red car is our engine builder/ clutch inventor. So EVERY part of my clutch and engine is billet. The kid beside my car is a friend.

Nice!
Can I have it when you're done with it?

Sure as long as you send along a 10 grand check to me first. It would be quite interesting to see that engine on your kart though. Imagine the 1 wheel burnouts! I can spin 2 18x8x8 drag slicks for about 4-5 seconds so imagine like a 3-4 inch single wheel drive kart! But you never know I guess you just HAD to ask :roflol: :cheers2: The wires you see coming out of the exast pipe and off the compression head are for exaust gas temperature and head temperature. It all gets recorded in the run. It records engine RPM jack shaft RPM my ET (time) my MPH and all my temperatures. It also calculates wheel slip.

What's that smaller grey K&N filter down there doing? Breather?

Yep it's a weight bar and a valve cover breather.

Awesome ride man!!!! Sounds like a good tuning is in order but it's still bad ***!
I don't have 10g's to own it but how much to rent it? Oh, and I cannot promise that the tires will still hold air when I'm done. :p

Hey Tyler, would you mind posting all of the specs for that engine? I'm curious to see the "power within". :drool5:

well 3 5/16 bore. 3 inch stroke. Titanium valves. Crane cam. ARC crankshaft. Billet RHINO 2 block. Billet RHINO 2 head. Billet intake. COMP dual spring valve springs. ARC ajustable timing hub flywheel. Any more questions just ask.

Cam duration? How many pounds are them valve springs? What are the valve sizes? Is that a custom intake or ??? What's the intake bore size? What magneto are you running? And do you have any idea as to the compression ratio?
Sorry 'bout all the questions....

cam duration I dunno but the lift is close to 500.The springs are dual valve springs and there over 30 pounds. The intake port is 43 mm so where going to run a 42 mm carb. We are running a pro wire 5 HP coil. VERY strong spark. Compression ratio not sure. All I know is that we have a coleman mini gear reduction starter and if you dont back the flywheel off the compression stroke the starter will rip outa your hands. (starter WONT turn over engine) And even when it does its hard. The intake valve is about 1 1/2 wide and the exaust valve is about 1 3/4 wide or close to 2 inches. The valves are 100% pure titanium. 180 bucks each.

Needs a billet coil and carb, they dont look right on that much milled aluminum.

Don't forget the billet exhaust pipe! :roflol:
Still though, that is a nice looking machine!

Naw, they match alright, but the die cast carb has to go. Maybe if the carb was chromed it would be OK.

30+ lbs? Or 300+ lbs? :roflol:, cause I already have 26lbs springs :D

Over 30 pounds. and We made the exaust pipe. Its a three stage header and here are the measurements. From smallest to biggest. 1 5/8 1 3/4 then 2 inches. And it measures 27 inches in length. Its 100% tig welded. And yes that carb IS going to be changed this weekend. It is just TOO small for our aplication (37 mm mikuni) A 42 mm mikuni and a bigger cam is coming in on wed. And the new carb has a billet deep bowl a billet top and a whole wack of other billet parts. And no I wasnt on pass time, But there was a guy on pass time in a junior dragster that had a RHINO 1. I have the RHINO 2 BIG difference.

That pipe looks great!
Can we expect to see vids soon?

Yes you sure can expect to see vids soon. Not this weekend but probably the weekend after that. And thanks for the compliment about the pipe. Took 2 hours to make it. That includes cnc'ing a flange cutting the pipe, and TIG welding it. And that 2 hours of time didnt include the time it took to find the darn pipe. It took 10 diferent steel and auto shops to find the right pipe.

I know how ya feel, try finding .5" ID heavy wall(3/16") steel tubing, I ended up buying some round bar and drilling it out.

Do the math 8.30 VS 7.70 Thats more than a car length. And why do you think because you are getting a rhino it would be faster than mine? They would be just about the same.
