Hello all !
Well this is my first post as a member and I need some info. I just aquired a Tecumseh 2 cycle engine while helping clean out a garage. The only thing I can find out about the engine is that it was built in 1973 and it came off of a Toro Snow Pup 14 snowblower. The ID number on the tag is 1401F. Does anybody know much about these engines? HP, parts supply, or any advise on operation. I'm more of a 4 cycle guy so I dont know much about these little engines.
Anybody have any suggestions on a cool build for this thing?
Thanks in advance for any help or advise anyone can give !

Do you have serial number of machine (not engine) ?

Thanks alot Russ !
I dont have the serial # of the snowblower. I was up in Iowa helping clean out my wifes Granddads shop and took the engine and trashed the snowblower...not much use for one down here in Tennessee ! Anyway I did finally find a parts list by crossing the Tecumseh # to a Craftsman # I found in the Tecumseh 2 cycle service manual. It lists it as a 5.20 cubic inch /85cc engine. Would you happen to know what the HP might be ?
Oh and I was suprised but some of the parts are still available through one of the small engine shops here.

Thanks Russ !
That helps alot. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do with the engine. I got it just to keep it out of the dump. It's in good shape since it was kept inside since new.
If anyone has any cool ideas let me know !

What about a big RC car.
Like a Nitro car but bigger, that would be cool and probably very fast!!
