The above link is to Northern Tools site. My question deals with the " weight limit " stated in the specs. 200 lbs. is that reffering to the weight put on the spindle ? or the total assembly? Also has anyone had any luck with welding thes to there machine ?
Thanks in advance

Those things look like and are junk. They have plastic bushings in them to take up slop. Make your own if you can weld.

Theres a thread on how to make your own spindles without welding in the go kart section (at the top)

I believe that is the amount of weight the welds are able to support before bending or breaking.
But I agree with Tyler, those are junk.

Is that a welded blot for an axle? is that an arc welder?

I used my MIG to weld it all together. And bolts are fine to use and these spindles can handle anything you throw at them. And no its not a arc welder in the backround it's a 2500 watt generator SOO quiet!
