During my senior year engineering program I will be required to either invent, or improve an existing product. I have chosen to push the go kart past gas and dc motors into the realm of brushless. I have located a motor and a speed controller for my project and I am hoping to apply for a donation or grant to fund the construction of this go kart
Motor: https://www.kellycontroller.com/shop/?mod=product&cat_id=16&product_id=116
Controller(s):

I plan to run this system with two twelve volt car batteries, as for amperage, I am unsure. I have a good understanding of brushless motors and electronics from my radio controlled vehicles with power systems from Castle Creations (http://castlecreations.com)
So, does anyone have any experience with large-scale brushless?

Thanks.

Awww dude, I think it's safe to say that we're all noobs when it comes to brushless. :confused: However, welcome to the site!

Is this the same motor? I'm trying to think of a way to put two of these on the rear wheels of my two seat kart.
