Hello,
I have started to build a fairly simple go cart a couple of weeks ago, and decided to show all of you my progress. It is (hopefully) going to be powered by a Gx390 with racing cam, better springs, rockers, and motorcycle carb. I first have to get the engine honed, due to the fact that somehow, water got into the cylinder and left a different texture where the puddle sat.(look at pictures). As for the go cart it's self, it is made up of 1 inch square tubing, some of which is scrap, some of which i bought at my local welding shop. I am taking a non-suspension design from a book, and adding a front suspension (with two old 100 honda shocks) and a sway bar type rear suspension (with two old 185 honda shocks). Hopefully i will have this thing finished in a month or so. I am just waiting for some parts to arrive so i can build my rear axle, make my suspension, and upgrade and hone my gx390 (i hope to have about 20Hp when i am done).

This Go cart is going to be used only as an off-road cart, because there isn't any paved road for a while from where i live (which is on a 5000 acre farm)
