Firstly (is that a word?) I would get it running and work out any kinks or funkiness.
Secondly (ok, I know that's a word) I would maybe work on doing some stuff to the engine.
I've never owned a commercially made kart but I can't imagine that you could do a whole lot with one without butchering it quite a bit. I'm sure you'll come up with stuff once you get it running. Maybe you won't like the way a particular part of it works and will want to change it. After I built my kart and got it working I started discovering little things here and there that I want to change on it.

Keep the stickers on! They gain lots of horsepower :p
For the Briggs 5 horse, remove the governor, get a stock length billet rod, billet flywheel, new rings, SS valves and high perf. springs + retainers, 4HP High comp head, ect.

I'm just gonna take a stab here, but I think that Ironman was implying that the sticker is, ahem, not very aesthetically pleasing, or as you said in your first post "gay".

That website sells Honda parts only...
You'll want these sites:
www.arcracing.com
http://www.geckermotorsports.com/shop/browse.asp?cat=520&path=511,520
http://www.compgoparts.com/
Also, that looks like a 5HP. The only 5.5HP's I know of are OHVs...

Oh, my bad, I guess I jumped the gun and for some reason ASSUMED that he was talking about clones. And there was a pic of a Briggs right there in front of my face! :arf:
