b&s 5 h.p. motor

was wondering what is the most any one has seen these motors pushed. as far as speed and h.p made from these blocks. and how much it takes for that amount of power.
i know they make the animal and other models but how much real power we talking not counting the sprocket setup????:huh:

I have a 3 inch bore alcohol blockzilla it uses a 5 hp block and makes about 45-50 horse and will push a 250 pound jr dragster 8.30's at 76 MPH.

well they sell for about 3000 but we got ours for 1500. I think its a little out of your reach or a basher kart. Keep in mind it burns 2 liters a minute.

If ya want power, go eBay some parts. Plenty of cheap racing cams with reasonable lift... high compression heads, et...
