i got the pics... i had some trouble with the motor mounting and the bearings. The motor alignment was all out of whack so i redrilled them and the bearings had to be moved back to tighten the chain so i redrilled that too then my dad realised that we could have put shims in between the bearings and the frame to tighten it...

ncie work! for the engine mounting, there's no plate -- is that coming later, or did you drill through the frame?

i drilled through the frame... my frame is aluminum so it was pretty forgiving for the screwed up engine mounting holes
I used nylocks on all the bolt i put in so they wont vibrate out. For those of you who dont know what nylocks are theyre a nut with a small nylon ring at the end theyre very annoying if u have to thread them on a long bolt sticking out but THEY WONT COME LOOSE WITHOUT A WRENCH :)

just worried since you won't have any way to adjust the tension of the chain...

will aluminun C brackets for the spindles be strong enough to hold up a go kart? because i'm either going to weld an aluminum front on or make a steel front that slides into the existing frame and bolt it on
most of it yes. But no thats a 1" axle and i got it for free
me to mine 1inch and same set up as u it works good
