Flamethrower Exaust

I was wounder if anyone know how to rig up a flamthrower exaust?
I was thinking tap a holl on the exaust and put a couplin on it and hook a propane tank to it but i dont know.

I've seen a propane setup before. I don't have pics, it was just someone riding by. Probably would work, just don't set the field on fire. :)

And Theres no oxygen in the tail pipe.

^ Good point. If your engine has a very big flywheel, you could ground it, let the gas get blown out a bit... fit a plug in the muffler, and spark it with the grill igniters at Lowes.

For your question i dont work for dyno cams.
Im not sure the grill igniter will work,maybe if i run it lean.
Im not sure the propane will work don't really give off a good flame though.

The grill igniter end can be attached to a spark plug. Each click of the red button will ignite the plug... and boom! Ignition.

I know a few. I have 2. One... I installed the Y tube backwards... so that one cracked. Then I made another one properly. Sitting right on that shelf right now. Right in front of me. I don't really wanna fire it due to the noise + missles flying into windows.

Kinda off topic but a while ago i made a spud gun and it wasnt working very well and i was using onions and i shot it at my friend because it usually would only shoot a few feet well this was one time it actually shot good the onion exploded on his back and left him with about a 6'' wide welt.I DONT RECOMMEND DOING THIS but i must say it was funny.

LOL!!! Just your luck huh? Sorry :offtopic: I had something similar happen between me and my gf. I was trying to teach her to snap a lanyard on someone cuz I was always doing it but she couldn't. Well I had her practice on me and she couldn't make it snap for crap. Well she aimed for my face thinking that she wasn't gonna do anything and she snapped me right in the eye, the only time she got it right.

CrazyCart - These things can shoot up to 300ft... Be careful... you just got lucky there. The first time I made my spud gun (11)... it shot a paper roll (3 sheets of paper towel) across the yard. Powerful....

on topic, you can buy kits for this kind of thing from somewhere. i remember seeing adds for them like 3 years ago.

making them work involved mounting however many spark plugs into your exhaust as you have exhausts and then hooking it up to spark in time or out of time with the sparks in the engine. then you made your engine run rich i think so fuel went un-exploded in the chamber and was passed through into the exhaust. then unburnt fuel was ingnited at the exhaust tip.


it was like 3 years ago when i read about it but thats how i remember it sounding to me.

If what you said is true, then I doubt anyone would do that. Make it run rich? Then most likely it would floor upon hard acceleration...

And then there's the issue that the engine can stay spinning long enough to throw gas out of the exhaust...

For the sniper thing...try taking a large plastic bottle and put some fiberglass in it then mount it on the end of the gun,it may quiet it down some.It'd be one badass sniper haha
