Live Axle For Go Kart Frame
Steel Keyed Axle
A live axle will turn both wheels with equal traction. However, your handling will suffer if not driving off-road.
These axles have full length 1/4in. keyways with stubs at axle ends.
But they can also be used as a fixed axle if desired. Has 1in. dia. step down at end to 3/4in., 44in.L , 2in. ends with 3/4in. x 16 threads.

The live axle will have the best traction for you applicaiton. But for on-road, the turning will be difficult because when turning the rear wheels need to spin at different speeds. On dirt they can slip and it's not a problem. If you want traction and turning on the road, get a differential.
